It was like walking into the Mirror of Erised. It was also like reading Harry Potter if you have no idea what I'm talking about.
These are the items I bought at American Apparel in San Francisco. They have chosen to name themselves the "SF gang", which I think is ludicrous, but they probably want to feel a bit more G, seeing as 2/4 of them are glittery (maybe the NY purchases might be a little less desperate for social acceptance).
Similar to how Cue operates in Australia, American Apparel is not just an American-owned company, but all items are made in America too. Hooray! American Apparel is sweatshop-free, and they're aiming to create a new standard that other companies will follow. I would highly recommend reading this right here to find out more - it will legitimately warm your heart.
This is where you should go to buy everything you see here, and then probably some more on top of that because ethical basics are very hard to say no to.
