Meet my friend, Kyle Erik Schroder. Kyle, everyone; everyone, Kyle.
Erik is not my real middle name. As of January 15th this year, I am 27. I hail from Echuca, Papua New Guinea, Echuca, Albury/Wodonga, Camberwell. I am a child of God, tall and have a weird accent.
My mind operates with a strange mix of logic and fun. I’d love to swap brains with Tina Fey, Bill Murray or my grandfather. I’m trying to bring back the word/phrase ‘rad’. I’d love to hear the youths of today saying “rad” and instead of saying goodbye, they should say, “be well”. If I were on a television show, it’d be Seinfeld, no question.
If nothing were impossible I’d want a super power, and I want to be a preacher that was invited around the world to speak at conferences. Also my super power would have to be cool enough to impress people, and lame enough that people wouldn’t expect me to help out in emergencies.
I’m being interviewed because I have wonderful friends and because I have been fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to work with youth and young adults in a myriad of different ways. My job title is Youth and Young Adults Pastor, and this has opened doors for me to start programs and speak in schools, take part in camps, preach, and also spend some time with young people in social settings. Basically, it’s the best job in the world.
I’m passionate about helping people get closer to Jesus. Regardless on where you are on that sliding scale, I love the idea of being able to help people get closer to Jesus. Also I am very passionate about enjoying life. Life is rad.
The coolest thing I’ve done so far…that’s tough… maybe if I combine the cool things into one big word “marriagebungeejumpingskydivingmountainclimbingnearlydying”.
The greatest thing I want to achieve is to be part of a revival. Also be part of a gnarly skate crew.
The following things are important: Faith, hope, and trust. The following things are not important: Our past, our inadequacies, and our failures.
I contribute __________ to the Kingdom: This is a hard one to answer! I think I bring Biblical depth, excitement and encouragement. I want my motivations and desires to be first soaked in the Bible. I want to be excited and passionate about what God is doing, and I want to get excited by what other people are doing, and there is no better way to do that then to go and encourage them.

4thseedministries.com - Here is a link to a movement called Fourth Seed Ministries. These guys are great. They do devotions, clothing, music, sermons, small group stuff and heaps more. As far as a great home grown Christ based movement that knows how to use social media, these guys are tops.
