Meet my friend, Kendra Lim. Kendra, everyone; everyone, Kendra.
I am 21-years-old and hail from San Francisco. I am a daughter of Christ who is discovering one's calling through nursing. My mind operates in a focused linear fashion where I hope and dream for the future (Philippians 3:13-14), and I’d love to swap brains with Mother Teresa because she dedicated her life to share Christ's love by serving others. I’m trying to bring back the phrase "freely in hope". Check out www.freelyinhope.org to find out why. If I were on a television show, it’d be The Voice and The Sing-Off where I would partake in singing my heart out, raising the roof, and dancing non-stop ONLY as an audience member!
If nothing were impossible I'd travel the world, hike every mountain, try new foods, and listen intently to people's stories. I’m being interviewed because I believe I'm living in a generation of young adults who desire to see social justice manifested. I’m passionate about encouraging others to seek after God and His mysteries.
The coolest thing I’ve done so far is knitting my first sweater! The greatest thing I want to achieve is helping out in an orphanage and starting a clinic or hospital.
The following things are important: Love, grace, and advocacy. The following things are not important: Prejudice, carelessness, and pessimism.
I contribute photography to the Kingdom.
