Headed up by kool gal #girlboss, Rachel Kibbe (pictured below), HELPSY is your new favourite online ethical boutique.
Reading HELPSY's 'about' page made me feel like someone had delved into my brain, rummaged around, and then posted my exact thoughts on the Interwebs. I scrolled through and saw flashes of Frida Khalo, Ryan Gosling on a bar of soap, David Meowie, and woollen high tops, thus confirming that I shared a brain with an online boutique (also confirming that I am actually made of Internet).
HELPSY believes that "design-forward, cutting-edge fashion can have a positive social impact—100% of the time. Sometimes it just takes a discerning eye and a little hunting." This is what we're all about here at KINGDOM. too - doing good, being good, desiring good & looking good.
So how does the stock size up to the concept? Well, this online marketplace features items that are quality, non-disposible, eco-friendly, fair trade, handmade, profits to philanthropy, recycled, upcycled, cruelty-free, local, vintage and made in small quantities - BUT, it doesn't just stop there! In order for HELPSY to consider a product ethical, it needs to fulfil at least four or more of the aforementioned criteria. *thunderous applause*
So in true 'I-should-really-be-doing-assignments' fashion, I've picked out some of my favourite finds (everyone, please note the Kris Jenner raincoat - it is so important). Enjoy!
We love you, HELPSY!
