Magdalena was never satisfied in her own skin. Primary school was easy enough, but the pre-pubescent years of high school were a blur of insecurity, tears, disguises and nectarines. You see, Magdalena never felt like she should have comprised of 60% cotton and 40% jealousy. No, she felt like she should be made out of 100% brown paper. Perhaps it was due to her childhood nickname derived from her paper-bag-shaped body, “Baggy Maggie”, or perhaps it was due to her love of arts & crafts exclusively made from lunch bags. However, adulthood saw Magdalena travelling to Vietnam and finding a best friend in a young lady who 27 years later, introduced her to her daughter. Magdalena now comprises of 60% cotton and at least 40% pure joy.
