Friends, it's time to mobilise, and here's an awesome opportunity! KNO Clothing started three years ago with a simple mission: to use fashion for good. For every shirt they sell, they hand-deliver an article of clothing to someone on the streets AND provide funds to organisations working to end homelessness across the USA. To date, they've given thousands of articles of clothing to people across the country and have helped house thousands more.
They've got the ethical clothing thing down to a T. Or a tee. Literally a tee. T-shirt.
From the ultra premium, super soft cotton that is grown with the environment in mind to the worker-owned manufacturing facility in North Carolina, they've thought about the social and environmental impact. Every stitch is hand-sewn, every piece of fabric is hand-cut, and every t-shirt makes a long-lasting impact in the lives of everyone that touches it.
From Texas-grown cotton to North Carolina-sewn quality fabric, this t-shirt is made in the USA, all the way through. By sourcing and manufacturing our products in the USA, they're helping to provide jobs domestically and support local economies.
Their farmers grow cotton without using harmful chemicals by using methods that support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill; nevertheless, the costs are completely worth it.
There are nearly 1,000,000 people in the USA that go without a home every night. KNO are committed to ending homelessness and using fashion for good. For every t-shirt they sell, KNO give an article of clothing to someone in need and provide funds to organisations working to end homelessness.
Over the last twenty years, USA fashion brands outsourced much of their manufacturing. The t-shirt business, more specifically, has seen almost all domestic manufacturing move overseas. Not only do KNO support USA manufacturing jobs, but for them, making t-shirts closer to home is also the key to the high-quality, short-run manufacturing model they're adopting. Their manufacturing costs are higher, so is the standard of craftmanship. KNO have been fortunate enough to work with like-minded individuals throughout the entire manufacturing process.
