Let me tell you something: I have nothing overly fantastical to write about these pieces (they both lived relatively vanilla lives), so I'm going to tell you the actual stories behind how they ended up in my care.
Brangelina has become one of the greatest staples in my wardrobe. Denim shirts are great for the days that you want to dress upside-down but still want to stand on your feet because you don't have arm strength and you'll probably break your wrists. Brangelina was actually a hand-me-down from my friend's mother. This exchange happened about 4 years ago and I could not be happier or more proud of the shirt that Brangelina has become.
I went to a camp/conference/convention in 2013 and the weather was really confusing. Whilst it didn't rain, the sky couldn't decide whether it was going to keep its curtains open or not, so my legs were alternating between being content and on fire being encased in black denim pipes. Fortunately I was volunteering at a stall that had a small op-shop in the corner of the tent. Like any good worker, I bought more than I should have off the rack that I was supposed to be selling to other people. Georgickah came into my life this way. Although she was admittedly difficult when I was pitching a tent, she has been well behaved ever since. Good girl.
