I have an obsession with any artists who sound like they've travelled in time from the 80s to bring the gift of great tunes and wicked style to us mere mortals of 2014. So in addition to HAIM, Aussie girl (I get super excited when I hear the Aussie 'O' sound popping out from behind the melodies), Betty Who is coming in strong and dominating my earholes and solo dance parties right now. She's living the dream. More specifically, she's living MY dream. Not only did she study at Berklee College of Music (fun fact: I received a scholarship to study there once upon a time), but she's also creating the raddest tracks with her gutsy-yet-sensitive voice and her brain that is seemingly full of musical magic - ALL whilst rocking the greatest hair. THE DREAM.
